Tony
Hawk - one name that’s synonymous with skateboarding and the market leader in
skateboarding games. His latest game is
sure to surpass it’s predecessors with an open-ended game play in the vast
environment of Los Angeles, with streaming technology used
ensuring that there is no loading screen as you change levels, which should
please everyone.
The story mode of the game sees you as a bogan
travelling to LA to make your mark as a pro skateboarder. Here you will encounter other characters who
will give you missions to complete, thus improving your skills that will let
you take on the top dogs of skateboarding.
There are plenty of challenges to partake in,
which will let you learn new tricks, accumulate points, improve your stats and
earn some dough. The money you’ve earned
can be used to customise your character by changing hairstyles, buying clothes
and upgrading your skateboard/accessories.
Also in the game, you can switch to a BMX bike
to perform unique tricks if you tire of skateboarding, so in effect, it’s like
having two games for the price of one.
If you’re a skateboarder or love playing Tony
Hawk’s previous games, then grind on down to the shops and pick up this title.
